B2 super battle droids or commonly known as super battle droids (SBD) were droids used for the Separatists during the Clone Wars era. Super Battle Droids were tougher B1 Battle Droids They still lacked speed but were very powerful. B2 Super Battle Droids carried blasters on their arms instead of carrying a E-5 Blaster rifle. B2-HAs could carry a warhead rocket launcher on their left arm.
Characteristics[]
The B2 Super Battle Droid was created on Geonosis at the Droid Factory. Several of the B2s participated in the First Battle of Geonosis and the Battle of Christophsis. B2 Super Battle Droids were later on shut down with the rest of the droids.

B2 Super Battle Droids lack the intelligence of protocol droids or private security droids but still are smarter than their smaller B1 Battle Droids. B2s carried 2 twin laser cannons on their arms and usually came in large numbers. 12 B2 Super Battle Droids could be carried in 1 MTT.
History[]
First Battle of Geonosis[]
B2 Super Battle Droids were first seen on the Droid Factory on Geonosis being made with B1 Battle Droids. Later during the First Battle of Geonosis, B2 Super Battle Droids were deployed alongside B1's attacking the Clone Troopers. Notable B2s that participated were 5TE and 8EX.
Clone Wars[]
B2 Super Battle Droids appeared in many battles during the Clone Wars era always fighting alongside their B1's. Super Battle Droids sometimes hit their B1 cousins when they need to get closer to the enemy. The sinister 2003 Grievous used B2 SBDs as part of his strongest battle droids ever to stop Jedi. They also served under the heroic Grievous in battles as well.

B2 Super Battle Droids were present on the flagship of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and they protected the hangar form Jedi invaders. B2s and B1 Battle Droids were present at the Battle of Utapau where the evil Legends Grievous died. After that, B2s were shut down along with other Separatist droids.
